And then pushing a Toyota Camry while wearing flip-flops. Also, there’s a 2nd gen Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T.
The Youtube link has a better description, but basically I was in no hurry to get where I was going and nobody else seemed to be in a hurry to help this guy out of his predicament. I was extremely grateful for the other four people who joined in the effort, because pushing that car alone, while possible, would not have been fun. The driver actually got out and offered to help push, however, it was quickly decided that it might be easier with someone operating the brakes and steering.

Good work. I suppose it’s too much to hope that he bought the Eclipse a new brakelight bulb as a thank you.

I’m sure it already has for me in some form or another. This was a bit over two weeks ago.

Probably with a big clunk from the Audi, following which every mechanical gremlin is solved.

Haha my favorite part is I was unsure at first what type of car it was broken down. Then I saw the Camry dent. I have successfully recognized a car solely because of the dent!

Thanks for being the kind of person to do this.
My girlfriend ran out of gas in the middle of the expressway a week ago (it wasn’t her fault, I had installed a new fuel pump and the gauge still read above empty). She was close to the house, so it only took me about 7 minutes to get over there, but for about ten minutes, she was constantly honked at, called a cunt, and given the finger constantly. She didn’t know she was out of gas, all she knew is her car died and wouldn’t start again. She was crying (and she’s not a crier.) Finally, right before I got there, a guy stopped to help (he towed her with a tow strap to the side of the road).
It blows my mind that a couple hundred people could drive by her and all be so mean, when all it takes is one guy stopping to lend a helping hand. Thanks again for being that guy. And big thanks to all of those guys. You know who you are.

Next you’re gonna tell me that there’s gonna be peace in the Middle East.

Lucky no one driving and texting crashed into any of these three cars, or that someone didn’t come along to steal your’s while you were pushing! Gold star for you and the guys in the Eclipse!

Yeah I realized about halfway down the block that I had just left my car running in the middle of a road. Probably should’ve taken the key out in hindsight.
